Quite a nice little game!
Having missed the golden days of the GameCube and Wii, I had not played the original and had bought a copy of this remaster long ago.
I’m glad I got to play it. The game content and play style does show its age, but that is not necessarily bad, as I found it to be very charming in its own way.
I like how unforgiving the game can be sometimes. Not on the combat side of things, mind you, that was always easygoing, but on the puzzles and “what do I do next?”, even if you were always pointed to what your next goal was if the game detected you aimlessly wandering around (although sometimes I was just hunting for “that room” where I could now use my new skill to unlock some new path/get a new item).
I finished the game having missed 6 missile expansions (it took me some time to figure out their audio cue), but I won’t be coming back to get them, I didn’t love the backtracking that much.
