Playtime: 11h.
A very nice little game that respects the player’s time and intelligence.
A language puzzle game that might have taken quite some inspiration from the Tower of Babel myth.
You work your way up the tower by learning different group’s languages through puzzles of varying difficulty. After the first minutes thinking that this would be a dumb-dumb game, it picked up pace and I always felt compelled to come back to it to solve a particular challenge or to look for the next one.
It is surprisingly easy(er?) to play with mouse and keyboard. And that’s what I settled on, after a clunky start with a gamepad and keyboard (I refuse to peck around a keyboard with a gamepad!).
A cute story, but very flat. I guess the commitment to have all in-game content expressed via the very limited gameplay vocabularies did take its tool on that front, but it never broke immersion and for that it deserves my kudos!
Thanks Dallyn for the gift =]
